Former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte stepped out of the office with a final satisfaction rating of 81+, classified as “excellent“, according to the latest survey results of Social Weather Stations (SWS) released Friday, Sept. 23.

The poll conducted during Duterte's last days last June showed that about 88 percent of adult Filipinos were “satisfied“ with his performance.

While only seven percent were “dissatisfied“ and five percent were “undecided“.

SWS said the 81+ satisfaction rating was a new record-high that beat his previous record of +79 in November 2020.

The June figure was also 16 points above the +65 in April 2022 gross satisfaction.

‘Excellent’ net satisfaction in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao

“The 16-point rise in President Duterte’s overall net satisfaction rating from April 2022 to June 2022 was due to increases in all areas,“ SWS said.

Duterte’s net satisfaction in Metro Manila and Balance Luzon both rose from “very good“ to “excellent“.

Meanwhile, it rose from “very good“ to “excellent“ in the Visayas, and remained “excellent“ in Mindanao.
