Sandro Muhlach, accompanied by his father Niño Muhlach, has formally filed rape charges with the Department of Justice (DOJ) against GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.
The father and son were accompanied by their lawyer and agents from the National Bureau of Investigation, who assisted them in filing the rape through sexual assault complaint.
Additionally, Sandro Muhlach's camp has presented two witnesses who will testify to the alleged sexual abuse involving the actor.
According to the complainant's father, the incident has caused trauma for his son and is now undergoing psychological treatment.
Sandro's lawyer, Atty. Czarina Raz, stated that in addition to the rape charges, they have also filed multiple counts of acts of lasciviousness against the two independent contractors.
"Naconclude na ng NBI ang kanilang imbestigasyon, so after nila nakalap ang lahat ng mga ebidensya, nakuha ang mga statement ng mga testigo, ito na, nakapag-officially file na kami ng charges against Nones and Cruz," Raz said to media after filing the case.
"The evidence is strong, we have the evidence that we need. We will get the justice that Sandro deserves," she added.
Sandro Muhlach did not comment on the matter but insisted that the truth will prevail.
