There are no more active New People's Army (NPA) guerilla fronts, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. reported on Saturday, January 13.
According to the President, the current administration on the talks of internal security threats has neutralized a total of 1,399 members of communist and local terrorist groups.
At least 1,751 firearms were seized through capture, confiscation, and recovery or surrender were seized.
"Ngayon maari na nating i-report na wala nang active NPA guerilla front as of December 2023," the Executive Chief said in a video statement.
Meanwhile, Marcos also acknowledged the participation of concerned government forces.
