Vice President Sara Duterte on Thursday said black propaganda is being orchestrated against her, with the intention of tarnishing her reputation and hindering her from fulfilling her duties.
In a video message posted on her official Facebook page on Thursday, Duterte claimed that this smear campaign is getting "intense, daring, and desperate."
"Bahagi ang mga ito ng isang organisadong demolition job na ang layunin ay sirain ang aking integridad at gumawa ng imahe na ako ay isang mamamatay-tao, na corrupt, abusado, taksil at isang war lord," she said.
Duterte mentioned each controversy she had been involved in, including the P125 million confidential funds, the viral road closure in the Commonwealth, the reported 433 deployed personnel in 2022, the revelation of her alleged involvement in 'Oplan Tokhang' in Davao City, and her alleged firearm possession.
She also took note of the issue in which her relationship with her husband was disrespected and the circulating scam on student scholarships and the pabaon program on social media.
"Sinisiraan ako para pagdudahan, pahiyain, at panghinaan ng loob. Nais nilang isuko ko ang aking sinumpaang tungkulin na magsilbi sa bayan," the vice president, adding bashers does not want her to succeed in providing education to Filipino children.
Duterte stressed that the smear campaign has hidden "personal and political interest."
"At ang mga ito ay hindi ninyo interes, hindi interes ng bayan, hindi ito interes ng Pilipinas," she added.
