Several local government units (LGU) in the Philippines suspended classes on Monday, May 27, due to the unfavorable weather conditions brought by Typhoon Aghon.

Areas with class suspensions are the following:

• Quezon Province (All levels, including government offices)
• Las Piñas City (All levels)
• Tanuan City, Batangas (All levels, including government offices )
• Laguna (All levels)
• Aurora (All levels, including government offices)
• Sto Tomas, Batangas (All levels)
• Carmona, Cavite (All levels)
• Batangas City (face-to-face classes in Kinder to Grade 12, All levels)
• Malabon (All levels)
• Valenzuela City (All levels from kindergarten to senior high. No face-to-face for state and private colleges/universities.)
• Taguig City (All levels)
• Gapan City, Nueva Ecija (All levels)
• Laurel, Batangas (All levels)

Aghon landfalled over Patnanungan Island in Quezon on Sunday evening, with Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 raised over the Polillo Islands.
