YG Entertainment’s highly anticipated rookie girl group is preparing for its debut this year!

On July 11, YG Entertainment confirmed that BABYMONSTER's debut project is moving along quickly under the direction of general producer Yang Hyun Suk.

Their first title single will be a strong hip-hop song that will be released in September.

They are now in the last stages of preparing for their debut, including choreography and a music video.

When unveiling the final lineup of members earlier in May, general producer Yang Hyun Suk stated that BABYMONSTER Monster would debut no later than this fall.

Yang Hyung Suk also explained that the genre for their debut song will be an intense hip-hop song, for which he invited famous foreign producers and held several camps to collect songs.

BABYMONSTER is the first girl group produced by YG Entertainment in about seven years since BLACKPINK.

The group consists of multinational members, including Ahyeon, Haram, and Rora from Korea, Pharita and Chiquita from Thailand, and Ruka and Asa from Japan.
