After the arrest of actress Awra Briguela, CCTV footage captured inside The Bolt Hole Bar in Poblacion, Makati City is currently making rounds on social media.
Content creator Xian Gaza released the video on Facebook, while a staff member of The Bolt Hole described the events shown in the CCTV footage.
In the video, Awra can be seen with her friends, engaging in banter with a group of men at the bar.
According to the bar staff, the commotion started when the complainant, Mark Christian Ravana, refused to fulfill Awra's request.
The staff member shared that the group of men wanted to take a picture with Awra, but they were taken aback when Awra insisted that the complainant should undress before granting the request.
"Ang rason kung bakit ayaw niyang bumaba is meron siyang dare dito sa lalaki, na para mapagbigyang magpa-picture, kailangang hubarin 'yung pants," the staff said.
The CCTV footage also shows Awra's companions calmly leaving the bar at around 5 AM. Some of them even exchanged handshakes and fist bumps with Mark's group.
However, Awra did not leave with her friends as she reportedly stayed behind to talk to the complainant, whom she insisted to undress.
After her friends had left, Awra can be seen following the man into a corner until the man removed his upper garment. However, according to the bar staff, this did not satisfy the commedian as she allegedly wanted the man to pull his pants as well.
When the man refused, Awra got angry, and the video showed her pushing the complainant and his friend.
It can also be observed that Awra forcefully pulled the complainant's clothing until they both fell and the man's garment tore.
"Hahabulin pa 'yan (Mark) ni Awra para itulak, tingnan niyo kung sino 'yung unang nagalit, naga-alburoto na si Awra diyan," he added.
At this point in the video, Mark and his companions can be seen exiting the bar to avoid further conflict, but Awra continued to pursue them.
While the men were descending the stairs, the bar's bouncers can be seen attempting to prevent Awra from chasing them to prevent a further altercation. However, instead of calming down, Awra became more defiant.
Once outside the bar, Awra immediately searched for the man, and that's when their brawl allegedly began.
'Harassment not included in CCTV'
The CCTV footage did not capture the reported harassment experienced by Awra's female friends.
Initially, social media allegations emerged that Awra's friends were groped, which supposedly triggered the brawl.
According to Zayla Nakajima, who claimed to have been groped by Mark, Awra defended her against the disrespectful act committed against her and another female friend.
Awra's friends, many of whom are content creators, took to social media to defend the TV and movie personality and criticize the manner in which he was arrested.
One of Awra's vlogger friends, Melissa Enriquez, commented on Gaza's Facebook post, stating that the allegations of the actress wanting to undress the man were untrue.
According to the commenter, they have a "clear version" of the CCTV footage and clarified that Nakajima was not present in the released CCTV footage as the incident had already concluded, and she had left the bar.
As of this writing, Awra's legal representative has not released any official statement regarding the charges and the ongoing legal proceedings.
