The depths and crevices of the digital world are about to be explored with the ninth edition of the annual Digital Congress (DigiCon) 2024 on October 15 to 16, 2024, in Newport City, Metro Manila.
The two-day digital convention embodies the theme ‘Revolution’, and will be hosted by the Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP), a company leading in digital marketing and innovation.
Over 2,000 participants, including global and local industry experts, thought leaders, and technology pioneers, will attend the digital convention to discuss their expertise with professionals in several fields like; marketing, advertising, business, academia, media, and innovation. The annual event comprehensively studies the factors that reshape the digital landscape algorithm through trends, dissecting each track to better equip attendees with the changes seen in marketing and technology.

The Five Masterclasses
This year’s event is packed with activities that allow professionals and innovators to collaborate and work toward conversations on revolutionizing technology. The five tracks focused on various sectors in the digital movement are; E-Commerce, Digital Transformation, Brand Building in Digital, Analytics, RPA, and Data Science, and Innovation Lab on AI.
Moreover, to offer attendees a comprehensive and immersive experience, DigiCon will be utilizing multiple venues within Newport City. Plenary Talks will be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, while breakout sessions will take place at the Sheraton and Hilton hotels.

Steven Johnson as DigiCon 2024’s Keynote Speaker
This year’s keynote speaker, Steven Johnson, is the current Editorial Director at Google’s AI division, Google Labs.
Apart from that he is also a best-selling author and the co-creator of the AI-powered NotebookLM. His impressive background in innovation and digital collaboration makes him a fitting candidate to mentor the next wave of digital innovators.
“I’ve written about everything from video games to neuroscience to advances in chemistry. But the core idea that runs throughout all my work is innovation—is this question of where transformative ideas really come from, and how we can bring more of them into the world,” Steven Johnson said in a video message.
Throughout his career, Johnson mentioned that he had worked on a variety of topics in his books and software projects. There are patterns that he was able to see in unusually creative teams, organizations, places, moments in history, and technology platforms that generate new ideas. With Johonson’s in-depth discussion, including the five tracks offered, the next wave of digital transformation will allow professionals to keep up and thrive with the rapid evolution of the industry.
