Filipina actress Dolly de Leon revealed she cried a few days after missing out on the 2023 Oscar Award nomination for her role in Palme d'Or 2022 winner "Triangle of Sadness," which could have been a historic moment for the country.

In an intimate discussion, de Leon recalled the moment that caused her to feel emotional about not being nominated.

According to her, she got sad and the initial reaction she made was to cry and felt bad for about two to three days, adding that she was not going to lie and pretend that she was fine at not being nominated for the Oscars.

De Leon then expressed her support for the nominated actresses and said that she has so much respect for each one of them.
