Award-winning Filipina actress Dolly de Leon will be joining Hollywood and Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman in the second season of the American TV series "Nice Perfect Strangers."
In a report from Deadline, De Leon and Kidman will be joined by Liv Ullmann, Murray Bartlett, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Aras Aydin in the upcoming season of the Hulu original series.
The “Nine Perfect Strangers” is based on the 2018 novel of the same title by Liane Moriarty.
“Nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living with a 10-day star at a boutique wellness resort run by the resort’s director Masha (Nicole Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine ‘perfect’ strangers have no idea what is about to hit them,” the report said about the second installment of the series.
There is no information yet on the second season’s release date.
Prior to this, De Leon was also reported to join the cast of the Amazon Original Movie “Grand Death Lotto.”
The Golden Globe Awards and British Academy Film Awards nominee is currently filming with Kathryn Bernardo for “A Very Good Girl,” as well as an Antoinette Jadaone-helmed project “Simula sa Gitna” with Maris Racal and Khalil Ramos, and a series set in Germany, on top of several film appearances in Hollywood.
She won Best Supporting Actress at the Los Angeles Film Critics Awards and Sweden's Guldbaggage Awards for "Triangle of Sadness."
