Fire Senior Inspector Alejandro Ramos stated that firefighting efforts were challenging due to the closely spaced houses in the area. Fire trucks from the BFP and fire volunteers from Barangay 458, Zone 45, responded to the scene.
The blaze was declared under control at 8:08 AM.
One woman was reported injured after jumping from the second floor of her house to escape the flames.
The BFP is investigating the cause of the fire, with initial reports suggesting it may have started in a house where a candle was left burning due to a power outage.
Meanwhile, the total value of the properties destroyed has not yet been determined.
Residents are currently staying by the roadside as they await further assistance.
