Shopee, the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, introduces its latest brand ambassador, actress-singer Kim Chiu, as it kicks off its 10.10 brands’ festival.

During its media launch last Tuesday, Martin Yu, director at Shopee Philippines said that they are happy to welcome Chiu as part of the growing Shopee family. Chiu is known for her bubbly, and charming personality; and above all, she loves online shopping, a trait that most of us Filipinos have learned to embrace especially in this time where there’s limited outside mobility.

Kim’s tv commercial will put a different spin on the “proof of delivery” trend in social media. She will also be visible in the different Shopee games like Spin & Win and Guess It Right, which consumers can play to earn coins and rewards.

And because 10.10 Brands Festival is dubbed as Shopee’s biggest brands’ sale of the year, loyal users of the platform can look forward to participating in other games wherein they can win up to 1,000 Shopee coins.
