NBA star Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors has been confirmed to visit the Philippines on August 31, where he will be present to witness the finals of ANTA's "Shock The Game" tournament.
The highly-anticipated event will take place at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall.
ANTA's "Shock The Game" tournament, now in its second year, commenced last weekend with elimination rounds held in Cebu and the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman.
The tournament features an exciting full-court, 4-on-4 format, with the objective of being the first team to reach 21 points within a 15-minute timeframe. Each team consists of 5 players, with 4 players actively playing while one acts as a substitute.
There will be 128 teams from across the country will participate in this year's tournament, a significant increase from the 64 teams that competed in the inaugural edition last year.
