The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) and Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) are giving free rides or libreng sakay to commuters today, April 9.

The libreng sakay is for the commemoration of the 82nd Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor.

In separate advisories, MRT-3 and LRT-2 managements said rides are free on peak hours, from 7 AM to 9 AM, and 5 PM to 7 PM.

Meanwhile, the libreng sakay for military veterans in MRT-3 and LRT-2 continues until Thursday, April 11.

There will be free rides in LRT-2 on April 10, the celebration of Eid'l Fitr or or Feast of Ramadhan. Commuters can avail of the libreng sakay at the aforementioned peak hours.
