The four railway lines operating across Metro Manila and nearby provinces have released their schedules during the Holy Week.
MRT-3
The management of Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) said in an advisory that its operations will be suspended starting Wednesday, April 13.
It will remain closed until April 17, Easter Sunday, according to the advisory.
"Normal operations will resume on April 18, 2022," it said.
LRT-1
The Light Rail Manila Corporation, which operates the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1), said that operations will be suspended from April 14 (Maundy Thursday) to April 17 (Easter Sunday).
"LRT-1 will follow regular operating hours from April 11 to 13 (Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday)," it said in an advisory.
"Normal operations of LRT-1 along the existing line – Baclaran to Balintawak Station will resume on 18 April 2022 (Monday)," it added.
LRT-2
The management of Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2), meanwhile, said that it will remain open until April 12 (Tuesday), with the last commercial trip at 8:00 P.M.
It will close on April 13 to 17 in observance of Holy Week, it said in an advisory.
"Regular operations will resume on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 5:00 A.M.," it added.
PNR
The Philippine National Railway (PNR) announced that it will suspend its operations starting Maundy Thursday.
It will remain closed until April 16 (Black Saturday), and will resume regular operations on April 17 (Easter Sunday).
