A slight increase in the prices of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) welcomed consumers in the month of May.

In an advisory, Phoenix Super LPG Phils. Inc. announced that since 12 midnight on May 1, prices of its Phoenix Super LPG increased by ₱0.85 per kilogram while its Auto LPG by ₱0.48 per liter.

Meanwhile, in a separate advisory, Solane said its LPG prices rose to ₱0.82 per kilo since 6 am on May 1.

Alongside, Petron Corporation announced that due to higher international contract prices of LPG this month, it will implement ₱0.85 per kilo hike in its LPG prices and ₱0.48 per liter hike in its Auto LPG.

Based on the monitoring of the Department of Energy (DOE) as of February 1, prices of LPG range from ₱934 to ₱1,118 per 11-kilogram cylinder.
