Manila's local government unit (LGU) released an advisory on Sunday, providing official reminders for this year's Undas observance.

Both the Manila North and South Cemeteries will be open from October 30 to November 3, with visiting hours from 5 AM to 7 PM.

Burials or cremations will be temporarily suspended on the mentioned dates.

The LGU stated that vehicle entry will be prohibited during the specified dates. Vendors will also be prohibited inside the cemeteries.

Additionally, the following items are not allowed on the premises during visits: firearms and sharp objects, alcohol and intoxicating beverages, pets, guitars and loud sound systems, flammable materials, and cigarettes or lighters.

Furthermore, cleaning, repairs, and painting within the cemetery will only be permitted until Saturday, October 26.

Parents bringing their children are advised to obtain identification tags from the Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW) to facilitate easy identification in case they get lost.

Ambulances and medical personnel from the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) and Manila Health Department (MHD) will be on standby, with hospitals in Tondo, Sampaloc, and Sta. Ana prepared to handle emergencies.

The Manila Police District (MPD) will deploy skeletal personnel starting Sunday, October 27, with full deployment set for Wednesday, October 30.

The LGU also stated that only tents and tarps provided by the City Government of Manila are allowed, and private or political groups are prohibited from holding events to maintain a solemn commemoration of All Souls' Day.

To ensure visitor comfort, portalets will be provided in various locations throughout the cemetery. Free e-trike rides will also be available at the cemetery gates, particularly for seniors, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and pregnant women.
