The Philippines tallied up to more Php 1.4 billion worth of damages in agriculture and infrastructure due to Super Typhoon Julian.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported on Friday, October 18, that Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and the Cordillera Administration Region suffered damages in agriculture worth more than Php 514 million.
Meanwhile, damages in infrastructure reached to Php 965 million in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
NDRRMC also reported that a total of 2,843 houses suffered damages.
The death toll remains at five; one at Cagayan Valley, and four in the Ilocos Region.
NDRRMC further said that 12 individuals suffered injuries, while one person remains missing.
The agency added that Super Typhoon Julian affected at total of 115,125 families or around 380,778 individuals.
