Around 20 homes were engulfed in a third alarm fire on Mamamante Street in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City, at approximately 2 AM today, October 21, displacing at least 120 individuals.

Two individuals were reported injured: a 48-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both of whom were promptly taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries and burns.
Approximately 33 live pigeons were trapped in a cage and perished in the fire. Additionally, two motorcycles were also consumed by the flames.
In a report by Jecelle Ricafort, residents interviewed about the incident indicated that the fire began from an electrical explosion inside a house and rapidly spread to adjacent homes.
According to Fire Senior Inspector Mark Tuto, Chief of Operations at the Bureau of Fire Protection – Parañaque, this information has not yet been verified, and the BFP is actively conducting an investigation, as well as evaluating the extent of property damage.
Meanwhile, residents complained about the alleged delayed response of firefighters to their area.
