Maynilad Water Services Inc. has announced water interruptions in certain parts of the cities of Caloocan, Quezon, and Valenzuela from May 8 to 14 due to network maintenance.

The maintenance activities are part of the company's efforts to improve water services in the West Zone.

The affected areas and schedules are as follows:

Caloocan City

• Barangay 169 on Quirino Highway, Patnubay, and Susano Road on May 8 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.;
• Barangay 14 on Tanigue (east)/Dagat-Dagatan, Barangay 34 on Tambakan, and Barangay 12 on Kapak Alley corner Salay-Salay Alley 1 and 2 on May 8 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.;
• Barangay 28 on Pamasawata, Barangays 28, 31, and 35 on Dagat-Dagatan Extension/C3, and Barangays 112 and 122 to 124 on 9th Street/Quezon Street on May 9 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.;
• Barangays 172, 174, 175, 177, and 178 along Zabarte Road on May 10 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.;
• Barangays 130, 131, and San Jose on Cabatuan/Pag-asa, Barangay 151 on Progreso/Pangako, Barangay 12 on Salay-Salay Alley corner Salay-Salay, and Barangays 154 and 155 on Milagrosa/Malolos Avenue on May 10 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.;
• Barangays 99 and 100 on Dorotea on May 11 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.; and Barangays 59 and 63 on 10th Avenue/M. Hizon on May 12 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Valenzuela City

• Barangay Ugong on Rainbow Homes corner Quirino Highway on May 8 from 10 p.m. to May 9 6 am.

As a result, customers in the affected areas were urged to prepare and store sufficient water to sustain them during the downtime.

Water tankers were also deployed and ready to deliver water to the affected areas as needed.
