The collegiate athletic associations UAAP and NCAA have decided to cancel their scheduled games today, October 23, due to severe weather conditions brought by Tropical Storm Kristine.
This decision follows the suspension of classes in Metro Manila and nearby areas.
In the UAAP, the affected games include the men’s collegiate basketball matches between Adamson University and Ateneo de Manila University, as well as the University of the Philippines versus the University of the East. Junior high school boys' and high school volleyball games are also canceled.
In the NCAA, the games between De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and Lyceum of the Philippines, as well as Emilio Aguinaldo College versus Jose Rizal University, are also canceled.
