It is expected to intensify further and make landfall on northern Isabela (coast of Palanan, Maconacon, or Divilacan) or in the vicinity of Cagayan (coast of Gattaran, Baggao, or Peñablanca) before noon or by early afternoon, according to PAGASA’s forecast.
“Afterwards, the storm will traverse Northern Luzon and emerge over the West Philippine Sea tonight. On the forecast track, FLORITA may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow morning,” the state weather bureau stated.
