De La Salle College of St. Benilde Blazers and the Colegio De San Juan De Letran Knights will face off in the finals of the NCAA Season 98 Men's Basketball tournament.
The Blazers make their first Finals appearance since 2002 after winning against the San Beda University Red Lions, 62-61, on Tuesday, November 29.
Migs Oczon scored 17 points and Jimboy Pasturan added 16 points for St. Benilde to complete a sweep of all their three games against San Beda in the season.
Jacob Cortez finished with 13 points and James Kwekuteye registered 11 points to pace the Red Lions.
Meanwhile, the Knights remain in the run for their third straight championship after defeating Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates, 67-58, in a later match.
Fran Yu tallied 11 points while King Caralipio contributed 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead Letran to victory.
Enoch Valdez registered 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Mclaude Guadaña added 14 points for the Pirates in the semifinal match.
The best-of-three finals series will kick-off on Sunday, December 4, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
