The Creamline Cool Smashers made history as the first team to complete a grand slam in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

The Cool Smashers bested the Cignal HD Spikers in five sets, 21-25, 25-17, 20-25, 26-24, 15-13, in the finals of the 2024 PVL Invitational Conference on Thursday, September 12, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

Erica Staunton finished with 29 points and Bernadeth Pons added 27 markers for the 10th PVL title of Creamline.

Maria Jose Perez registered 42 markers, while Ces Molina and Jackie Acuña combined for 20 points as the HD Spikers fell short of winning their first championship in the PVL,
