Belo's transfer to Rain or Shine came as part of a one-to-one deal with the Meralco Bolts, involving fellow UAAP alumnus Norbert Torres.
Standing at 6 feet 4 inches, Belo, who was selected as one of the top three picks in the 2016 PBA Special Draft, now has the opportunity to fulfill his potential under the guidance of coach Yeng Guiao.
This move comes after several seasons in the league where Belo's talents were not fully utilized.
