However, the Hotshots unleashed a formidable surge, turning a tied score of 69-69 late in the stretch into a commanding 83-71 lead, thanks to a crucial basket by Joseph Eriobu.
One of the standout players off the bench was James Laput, the towering big man, who put on a remarkable double-double performance, amassing 16 points and 11 rebounds, along with one assist and one steal.
Eriobu also contributed, finishing the game with 15 points.
Mark Barroca and Aris Dionisio made valuable contributions as well, adding 12 and 10 points respectively to bolster Magnolia's offense.
