More than 30 areas to experience danger-level heat index on Tuesday - PAGASA

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that the heat index could rose up to 49 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, April 30, in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
Based on the forecast of PAGASA, more than 30 areas could record danger-level heat indices (42 degrees Celsius to 51 degrees Celsius).
Aside from Dagupan City, these areas include:
- The Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City;
- Science Garden in Quezon City;
- Sinait, Ilocos Sur;
- Laoag City, Ilocos Norte;
- Dagupan City, Pangasinan;
- Mariano Marcos State University in Batac, Ilocos Norte;
- Bacnotan, La Union;
- Calayan, Cagayan;
- Aparri, Cagayan;
- Tuguegarao City, Cagayan;
- Nueva Vizcaya State University in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya;
- Isabela State University in Echague, Isabela;
- Iba, Zamabales;
- Clark Airport in Pampanga;
- Central Luzon State University in Munoz, Nueva Ecija;
- Baler, Aurora;
- Casiguran, Aurora;
- Subic Bay, Olongapo City;
- Sangley Point, Cavite;
- Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas;
- Coron, Palawan;
- San Jose, Occidental Mindoro;
- Puerto Princesa City, Palawan;
- Aborlan, Palawan;
- Daet, Camarines Norte;
- Legazpi City, Albay;
- Virac, Catanduanes;
- Masbate City, Masbate;
- The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture in Pili, Camarines Sur;

PAGASA cautions the public that the extreme heat could cause heat cramps, as well as heat exhaustion, and continued exposure could lead to heat stroke.
